Highlight- Intergenerational TAB Training in D.C.
This month, our Co-Executive Director, Stephanie, our youth instructor Agnes, and two of our trainers, Pippa and Mira, traveled from three states to Washington, D.C., to run two simultaneous intergenerational TAB trainings for a total of 57 participants.
Here is what Stephanie had to say about the training:
"The Social Justice Committee of Falls Church and the Vicinity training was an energizing experience. More than 50 individuals from across generations came together to learn how to stand up for themselves and others. I loved seeing students, adults, and community leaders learning side by side. It was especially meaningful to share the day with our instructor, Agnes Knox (SC), and trainers Mira Hsu (GWU) and Pippa Westland (Smith College).
The energy in the room was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with courage, curiosity, and care."

Why do good people so often do nothing when a seemingly small action could make a big difference?
This month, we are gathering as a community to discuss The Bystander Effect.
RSVP on our website. We hope to see you there!
