About the event
Why do we sometimes act when we see harm, and why do we sometimes stay silent? Join us as we explore the psychology of active bystandership through A Class Divided and Why We Act: Turning Bystanders Into Moral Rebels, examining the bystander effect, the forces that shape our decisions in moments of harm, and what helps people move from observation to action. Together, we'll connect what we watch and read to our own experiences and consider how we can become more prepared to act.
The Watch and Read selections are not required to attend the gathering, but we encourage you to explore them beforehand to help deepen the conversation.
